At Mary Immaculate Primary we have adopted a whole-school approach to the planning and implementation of an integrated curriculum.

This unified process of delivery develops quality and consistency in our pedagogy and assessment, thus enhancing student learning.

The teaching and learning programs at Mary Immaculate reflect current research on 'inquiry learning' and 'differentiation'. In our Kindergarten to Year 6 integrated units of work we capitalise on the authentic links and connections between the 6 Key Learning Areas, with specific focus on the areas of:

  • Human Society and its Environment
  • Science and Technology
  • Personal Development, Health and Physical Education

Through a variety of learning activities, all our students are provided with opportunities to develop transferable life skills to become independent and lifelong learners.
