School song By Maria Boyd
In this our school, within these walls instil in us
A sense of Wisdom, Truth and Courage Lord
To serve you now and all the days before us
To know that life is Love and Love is life's reward.
And may our eyes be open to beauty
But to suffering never be blind
Hands always willing to do an honest day's work
Or gently turn, another's wounds to bind.
Give us strength to stand for truth despite the cost
Minds that search your universe to know
To freely give the priceless gift of our time
That all may see Christ's light within us glow.
This precious earth and all within are in our care
Not ours to waste or plunder or stain
Given by you to cherish, preserve and to share
Then hand on to those who walk behind.
May all live free despite colour, race or creed
Peace can grow if we only plant the seed
Let others see their dignity reflected in our eyes.
In this our school within these walls instil in us
A sense of Wisdom, Truth and Courage Lord
To serve you now all the days before us
To know that life is Love, and Love is life's reward.
