Educating for the future
The learning journey at Mary Immaculate honours the developmental stages in a student’s life. Based on leading educational research and the best of today’s technologies, we prepare students for the future by teaching them how to think critically and creatively, how to communicate effectively and how to lead and work both independently and collaboratively.

Religious Education
As a Catholic school we also have a strong religious dimension that runs through all the KLAs and is also formally recognised as the KLA of Religious Education.
Mary Immaculate students take part in formal Religious Education every day, based on the new Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese curriculum, Encountering Jesus. This curriculum invites all students to consider how the teachings of Jesus Christ can apply to their lives.
Religious Education

Mary Immaculate Primary is recognised for its spirit of excellence, innovation and growth.
Our celebrated approach to learning is based on leading educational research. From kindergarten to Year 6, we develop skills, knowledge and enthusiasm that achieves great outcomes for all students.
In a Catholic environment of love and service, we provide contemporary learning for today's world.
As the building blocks for all learning, we have a strong focus on Literacy and Numeracy throughout our learning and teaching programs.

Literacy
Literacy is a vital component of all children's learning. Every day, our students participate in dedicated classroom time that develops their reading and writing skills. Our use of technology provides students with a variety of tools that enhances their understanding of language.
Our MiniLit program provides early intervention for students with literacy challenges. Additionally, opportunities such as the NSW Premier's Reading Challenge, UNSW competitions, and the Voice of Youth public speaking contests offer extra challenges for keen students.

Numeracy
Our teachers provide a strong foundation in maths with a contemporary curriculum that focuses on core numeracy skills. Students develop proficiency across all areas of mathematical reasoning, including measurement and geometry.
Students with maths difficulties can receive specialist intervention through our Extending Mathematical Understanding (EMU) program. Additional enrichment is available through Mathematics Olympiad.
